Maybe dd-wrt isn't playing nice lol, they all left channel 1. I would expect 2-3 that would still stay on 1 but they all went to much, much more crowded channels, 6 and 11. Channel 6 has over 10 AP's
The latest is DD-WRT v3.0-r38580M kongac (02/05/19) so i'll assume that's the one.You can rename the folder if you want to 38580M,it'll probably save you more of the same question. Could be worse: I have an R8000 (not R8000p) and every FW beyond DD-WRT v3.0-r40270M kongac (07/11/19) completely fucks up both 5GHz radios. wl0 & wl2 try to broadcast using the same channels and wl0, normally the strongest radio nets me a whopping -98db when I place my phone directly on the router. If I'm not mistaken Brainslayer is the only one working on the Marvell units now, as Kong bailed some time ago. As far as DD-Wrt goes it is much better than any stock f/w out there, it just comes back to lousy drivers and the chip set used . because there doesn't seem to be half as many issuse with other routers with different chip sets used.
3) Moving from Kong’s DD-WRT to AsusWrt-Merlin was a breeze, simply uploaded the .chk file (included in the ZIP file) on the “upgrade” page of DD-WRT (set “reset to default settings”!!!!
